Sherry A. Scheib, M.D., FACP

Dr. Scheib earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, in 1994 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1989. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, VA, in 1997.

Dr. Scheib joined Consultants in Internal Medicine and Sentara Medical Group in 1997. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist.

Dr. Scheib has a special interest in diabetes management, cardiovascular disease, preventive health and women’s health.

Dr. Scheib enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and two children, Riley and Alana, playing, watching and participating in sports of all varieties. She also enjoys listening to music, especially her children’s violin playing and singing.
