Glenn C. Jones, M.D., MBA, FACP

Dr. Glenn Jones completed high school in the UK where he won a scholarship to Eton, and then earned a BAS in Microbiology, Immunology and English from Stanford University in 1991. He studied at L’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausées in Paris, finishing his MBA in 1993. His MD was completed at the University of Chicago and his residency at Duke University Medical Center. He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002, and recertified in 2012.

Dr. Jones has been active in healthcare leadership, teaching and informatics. He was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP) in 2005. He sat on the Virginia ACP’s Governor’s Council for many years and chaired the 2008 Virginia ACP Scientific Meeting. He has been recognized by Best Doctors in America, America’s Top Physicians, Top Docs in Hampton Roads, Virginia Living Best Doctors, and Who’s Who in Internal Medicine. He was named the 2008 Virginia Young Internist of the Year. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at both UVA and EVMS. He sits on several boards and committees within Sentara Medical Group.

Dr. Jones is married to Trish and they have two children, Zoë and Leo. His photographs have been displayed in numerous gallery exhibitions and are displayed throughout the DCC office. Years of playing rugby and a black belt in judo have greatly impaired his ability to play anything resembling golf.
